For unrivaled fall color in the U.S., book your seasonal getaway in Vermont, says Airbnb.
Vermont is the the top-ranked state in the U.S. for fall foliage, according the online marketplace for vacation rentals. The site determined the top leaf-peeping spots by analyzing the states with the most mentions of fall words such as “foliage,” “leaf peeping,” and “fall” in listing reviews.
New Hampshire came in second on the list, followed by New York.
In a national survey, 83% of respondents said fall foliage is important when planning fall getaways, according to the site.
