Tell Us

We want to know: What stories and events made your radar in 2024?

Only you can help us pick the top Boston stories of the year.

Would any of these make your top stories list from 2024? Greg Derr/Pool; Barry Chin/Globe Staff; Elsa/Getty Images; Pat Greenhouse/Globe Staff; Joseph Prezioso / AFP

Yes, here at Boston.com we report the news. But when it comes to what local stories resonate most with our loyal readership, that’s up to you and your own personal proclivities. (And let’s face it, there are some things we don’t want to know.)

But as the year winds down, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to ask you about the local news — from the serious to the fun to the downright weird — that took up the most space in your brain in 2024. After all, there’s a lot going on in Greater Boston, this being a major metropolitan area (no matter what The Onion says).
