As 2024 enters its last chapter, we want to know: what was the best book you read this year?

It was a great year to be a bookworm. It was also the year Boston became a niche bookstore haven that shows signs of continuing in the new year (see: Lovestruck Books, Cambridge’s romance-only bookstore is set to open this winter.)

Throughout the year, Boston.com readers shared their favorite beach reads, the scariest books they’ve ever read, and even how to read for fun

In turn, we shared a few recommendations of our own, like a starter pack to the romance genre, our ultimate Pride 2024 booklist, and more.

Whether you’ve checked off all of the books in your “to be read” list or tackled only a couple of books this year, we want to know the best book you read in 2024.

Share your favorite read of this year by filling out the form below or e-mailing us at [email protected] and we may feature your recommendation in an upcoming guide.
