An apparent assassination attempt of Donald Trump over the weekend marked the latest threat on the former president, further rocking the 2024 election year by unprecedented violence.
On Sunday, a Secret Service agent noticed a rifle poking through the bushes along Trump’s Florida golf club, roughly 400 yards away from the former president, and opened fired. No one was injured, and a suspect was arrested.
The apparent assassination attempt comes two months after Trump was shot during a July 13 rally in Butler, Penn. Eight days later, President Joe Biden withdrew from the race, giving way for Vice President Kamala Harris to become the Democratic party’s nominee. And most recently, Libertarians in New Hampshire appear to have encouraged the assassination of Harris.
With the November 2024 election just months away, we want to know: Are you concerned about political violence ahead of the 2024 presidential election?
