It can be overwhelming visiting a city for the first time, so we’re asking readers for help creating an itinerary for newcomers to Boston this summer.

For those who have spent time in Boston, what is the absolute best experience during the summer months and why? There are countless things to do in Boston’s many distinct neighborhoods, so help a traveler out by sharing your top pick.

Should folks explore the Boston Harbor Islands or the Charles River Esplanade, named one of the best riverwalks in America? Catch a performance of Shakespeare on the Common or a Red Sox game at Fenway Park?
