A Delta plane flipped upon landing in Toronto on Monday, the latest in a string of airline crashes this year.
The flight from Minneapolis carrying 76 passengers and four crew members flipped on its roof and burst into flames at Pearson Airport. All 80 passengers survived the ordeal.
It is the latest in a string of aviation accidents over the past month. An American Airlines flight collided with an Army helicopter near Washington, D.C. on Jan. 29, killing all 67 people on board. It was the deadliest U.S. air crash since 2001.
After that, a medical transportation plane crashed in a neighborhood in Philadelphia, killing all six people on board and another person on the ground. A small commuter plane crash in Alaska killed all 10 people on board. And two private jets collided at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, killing one person.
In the wake of these recent airline accidents, do you feel safe flying? Why or why not?
