Where to eat and drink near Fenway Park for the 2025 Red Sox season

April in Boston is the signal of good times ahead. It’s the month where people de-thaw after being cooped up during winter hibernation, checking out the city’s major events like the Boston Marathon, all kinds of springtime festivals, and a Red Sox game.

The latter in particular electrifies the team’s home turf, Fenway-Kenmore, bringing in tens of thousands of fans each game who are ready to spend money on baseball memorabilia, hot dogs, and beer. Sure, there’s food inside the park, like the perennial favorite Fenway Frank. And there are always plenty of hawkers hauling around ice-cold beers, peanuts, and other baseball park classics.

But the park’s neighborhood has seen expansive growth in the last several years, brought on by development in an area of Boston that was once described by many as “gritty.”

Nowadays in Fenway-Kenmore, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Not much of a beer drinker? Fenway-Kenmore has more than just sports bars. Saving room for hot dogs at the park? Feast on charcuterie, oysters, sushi, and curry all located less than a mile from the Green Monster.

There are also still plenty of spots to grab hot dogs and beer, though, and they’re game day classics for a reason.
