Age: 52
From: Abington
During the pandemic, running was so therapeutic for me.
It has always been my stress reliever. It kept me sane. I’ve run for many years but only recently completed a virtual marathon. Then an opportunity came around to run for Bay Cove Human Services for the 126th running of the Boston Marathon.
I’ve worked for Bay Cove for six years and I know the amazing work we do. We believe everyone has value. When I said yes to the bib, the Bay Cove family rallied their support and inspiration around me. It became crystal clear why running for Bay Cove was the right decision.
Bay Cove’s mission of partnering with people to overcome challenges and realize personal potential is for the very people we serve and the the hundreds of staff we employ. They care, they cheer on and they pick you up.
I am excited and nervous to run the Boston Marathon in person. I want to represent Bay Cove and promote the work we do as an agency.
