Let’s face it: 2025 was so packed with big local news stories — the Karen Read retrial! The Trump immigration crackdown! The great Josh Kraft flameout! — that we could write 100 questions for our year-end news quiz and still not cover them all.

With that in mind, and so as not to overwhelm, we’ve narrowed down our topics to one a month. Below, you’ll find a dozen questions that may seem familiar if you’ve been following the news (and our news quizzes) for all of this very busy new year.
