Age: 40
From: Omaha, Nebraska

I am running the marathon for my daughter Molly! Molly was diagnosed with Rett in 2021. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that affects 1 in 10,000 females. Rett syndrome leads to severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of life: ability to speak, walk, eat and breathe easily. I have been continually striving to find ways to give back to the Rett community, and my run helps to fund the BCH Rett Clinic.

I run so that one day Molly can walk! Sweet Molly is a tough cookie and takes all the impairments in stride. She is happy and loving, she gives the best smiles and giggles!
