This Boston will be my fourth Boston. It will be my 10th anniversary since my first Boston. Boston means everything to me. I come from a family steep with traditions and attending the Boston Marathon every year is one of them. I have not missed a single Boston marathon in 42 years. I am on my Six Star journey. I have two Majors left (Berlin and Chicago) but whenever I am lucky enough to run Boston, I do.
This year, 10 years after my first Boston, I will FINALLY have the chance to have my 3 children watch me run. I hope to inspire them in showing them what moms are capable of. What Bostonians are capable of. WIT — whatever it takes. Boston, you’re my home.
