Name: Caroline Driscoll
Age: 19
From: Milton

I have never been the most athletic person in the room. However, instead of focusing on my lack of athletic skill, my entire life I have aimed to put forth effort in areas other than athleticism, specifically serving others. I have the honor and blessing to be running for the Martin Richard Foundation at the 128th Boston Marathon and have discovered how truly important it is to make people feel included, valued, and to spread peace. Running for this organization has not only challenged my physically, but it has taught me the importance of selflessness and reaching out to others.

This Boston Marathon training experience is a period of my life that I will never forget, and I am forever changed by MR8’s impactful message. My 26.2 is dedicated to Martin and his goal of spreading peace. I hope when I cross the finish line, I will feel the accumulation of all my hard work and resilience. Blessed to have this opportunity. See you at the finish line!
