Name: Karen and Brian Scott
Age: 52 and 22
From: Groton
My son, Brian, and I are running the Boston Marathon in April in support of David Scott and the Dana Farber Cancer Center.
Why I'm Running
My other son, Adam, ran the Boston Marathon for Dana Farber in 2022. It’s a family affair!
My husband, Dave, and I travel to Dana Farber every other Wednesday for palliative chemotherapy for stage 4 colon cancer, so we’ve experienced firsthand the dedicated professionals that work there and the superior treatment they give each patient.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in innovative basic cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Thank you for your support! #FinishBeforeTheStreetSweepers
