I am a registered nurse working with students with complex medical needs and diagnosed disabilities who inspire me everyday.
I am honored to be running the Boston Marathon for Special Olympics Massachusetts, whose mission of inclusion, empowerment, and creating a community for individuals diagnosed with disabilities is so important to me, which is why I am so fortunate to have to opportunity to be running for this amazing organization.
Allowing people to feel empowered regardless of a diagnosis is very valuable to me, and Special Olympics Massachusetts celebrates everyone. There is so much the world tells this community they cannot do because of a diagnosis, but Special Olympics focuses on what athletes can do, and I wish more of the world did that.
I am so excited to run the Boston Marathon and to help fundraise for a cause that means so much to me.
