I am a first grade teacher at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy Lower Mills, and this year, I will be running the Boston Marathon on the Corey C. Griffin Foundation marathon team!
As a teacher at SJP Lower Mills, I see firsthand the impact that the Corey C. Griffin Foundation has on my students. Our school takes great pride in our mission of all students being known, loved, and called to excellence. The CCGF provides our students with unique opportunities that remind them over and over again that the foundation also believes our mission to be true. Our students are known, loved, and called to excellence and they are Corey’s Kids. Talk about special?!
The CCGF demonstrates time and time again their commitment to my students, as well as the children of Boston. This is a very beautiful thing to witness. It is truly inspiring to see an organization so genuinely determined and generously dedicated to supporting and investing in the lives of my students and the children in our city.
Running the Boston Marathon in support of the Corey C. Griffin Foundation is a privilege. I am honored to run for Team CCGF as a way of giving back to the organization who has given so much to me and my students.
