Name: Sean Pruneau
Age: 32 on Marathon Monday
City: Boston

I am running the 130th Boston Marathon with Dana-Farber for Team Dennis, honoring Dennis Ford’s current courageous battle with glioblastoma. Given Dana-Farber’s importance to Dennis, as well as having been a long-time close friend of his son Tyler and the Ford family, I am proud to run for this cause.

Dennis organized a charity golf tournament for the Jimmy Fund for 20 years raising over $2.5 million, before becoming a patient at Dana-Farber himself after being diagnosed in August 2023. Team Dennis’ motto is: “Fueled by Positive Energy” — and Dennis embodies this daily in his fight against Glioblastoma.

Team Dennis’ efforts help in moving closer to a world without cancer. I couldn’t be more excited to run for this cause, fundraise for Dana-Farber, and celebrate Dennis’ strength and resilience in his courageous fight!
