Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley is seriously lagging behind his rivals Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in just about every significant poll.

But there’s at least one contest where we think O’Malley has a slight edge over his opponents: coolest first car.

U.S. News & World Report recently profiled what cars the presidential candidates drive now, as well as the cars their early ride, and O’Malley takes the top prize in our book.

According to U.S. News, O’Malley’s first car was a yellow 1972 Pontiac Catalina. It’s a classic all-American car and in terms of old-school appeal, this one definitely stands apart from the crowd.

From U.S. News:

This oversized sedan would have weighed in at more than 4,000 pounds and stretched more than 18 feet from chrome bumper to bumper. O’Malley’s friends even had a nickname for it: the Banana Boat.

The Catalina was retired as a brand in 1981. O’Malley now drives a Ford Explorer SUV.

Democratic frontrunner and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton apparently has not driven since 1996, but she once owned a 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass while a student in law school. It’s not clear what Vermont senator Bernie Sanders currently drives, but he has expressed a fondness for plug-in hybrids in the past.

There are definitely some interesting standouts among GOP candidates, too. Both Dr. Ben Carson and Texas senator Ted Cruz drive a BMW 3 series. Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has a fondness for Jeep vehicles, while Ohio governor John Kasich prefers Dodge.

Meanwhile, former Florida governor Jeb Bush went with an eco-friendly Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Not too surprisingly, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has a huuuuuuuge car collection that includes a Lamborghini Diablo, a few Rolls-Royces and some McLarens.
