The most expensive thing at the N.E. Auto Show is a used car
What makes a used car worth more than $400,000? The fact that it’s a Lamborghini Aventador

A 2014 Lamborghini Aventador.
Over 600 new cars have packed the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for the 2016 New England International Auto Show.
But one of the stars of the show isn’t a new car at all.
A used 2014 Lamborghini Aventador priced at $429,988 is the most expensive car on display at the show.
While it may seem strange that the most expensive car on display at the show falls into the used category, the car is really a “bargain’’ says Lou Forti, brand manager for Herb Chambers Lamborghini.
Forti says he is used to seeing Lamborghini and other “ultra luxury’’ vehicles priced above $500,000. At $429,988, the 2014 Avantador is a bargain because there are very few miles on the odometer and the car is in great condition.
“The original MSRP was about $482,000,’’ said Forti. He points out that it has a V12 engine that gets 700 horsepower.
Any professional NBA players should take note. Because the car is a roadster, it works very well for tall people.
“Anyone over 6-foot, 2-inches can easily get the carbon fiber top off,’’ said Forti.
“[Having] 2,100 miles on a $482,000 car is a fantastic bargain for anyone who ends up getting this car,’’ he said. “It just needs the right owner.’’
