MINI Clubman. The Clubman features an upscale interior with ambient lighting, and is longer and wider than the Countryman. Its fuel economy is up to 25 mpg in the city, and up to 35 mpg on the highway. It starts at $24,950.

MINI Countryman. The Countryman combines available all-wheel drive, and cargo utility with the fun driving manners MINI is known for. Its fuel economy is up to 29 mpg in the city, and 39 mpg on the highway. Starting price is $21,700.

Chevrolet Cruze. The 2016 ride has aerodynamic sculpting for a sportier look, and now offers drivers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can interact with your maps, texts, music, and more using voice commands or the touchscreen display in your car. Its fuel economy is 40 mpg on the highway. It starts at $16,620.

Mazda Mazda3. This small, stylish car is also very fuel efficient with a fuel economy of 29 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. It’s available as a sedan or a four-door hatchback, and goes 0-60 in just 7.5 seconds. It starts at $18,680.

Subaru Impreza. The new Impreza is a great car if you’re on a budget but still want all-wheel drive for good traction on slippery roads. It’s practical, easy to drive, and fuel efficient. Its fuel economy is 28 mpg in the city and up to 37 mpg on the highway. It starts at $18,295.

Subaru Forester. The 2016 Forester is a practical car that has a roomy rear seat and cargo area, perfect for families. It also features an advanced collision-avoidance system, adaptive cruise control, and takes top honors in crash tests. Its fuel economy is up to 24 mpg in the city, and 32 mpg on the highway.
