For sale on Ebay: A winged Mini
Bidding starts at $20,000.
A 2004 Mini Cooper that’s been tricked out to look like an airplane is for sale on Ebay. The Bellingham seller has set a minimum bid of $20,000, a few grand less than the starting cost of a new 2015 Mini.
Described as in “great condition,’’ the white Mini was a former promotional vehicle for Delta Airlines.
You can place a bid for the car till Friday, May 29.
The two-door car offers more than just fake airplane wings and jet engines – it’s also equipped with a sunroof and black-and-tan leather seats. With only about 50,000 miles on it, the Mini’s next owner could probably look forward to many more miles of attracting lots of stares.
