What the Heck is OK Go Riding?

In their latest (and well-choreographed) music video “I Won’t Let You Down,’’ the boys from alt-pop group OK Go can be seen wheeling around on a new kind of unicycle that could give the Segway serious competition.

The unicycle is a “personal mobility prototype’’ from Honda called U3-X. It looks a like a combination of a ergonomic office chair and Professor X’s hovering wheelchair.

According to Gizmodo, users can steer the souped-up unicycle by leaning their body instead of steering with their hands.

During the entire length of the video, not one member of the group appears to lose their balance, get stuck, or even bump into one another.

When I see this music video, I can’t help but hear Homer Simpson saying, “Here I am using my legs like a sucker!’’
