To Protect and Serve…and Back Away
I’m pretty sure this is how the world of Mad Max gets started.
In this video, a group of motorcycle enthusiasts in California are performing some pretty risky and downright reckless maneuvers on a major highway. A highway patrol officer tries to pull them over, but instead gets nowhere.
It’s actually pretty scary to watch. The biker with the camera pulls up right next to the officer only to make more taunts at him.
Eventually the cop realizes he is unable to reign in the wheeled hooligans and takes off. The bikers cheer and pump their fists in the air.
Before you go and chide the officer for neglecting his oath to protect and serve, bear in mind he was outnumbered by roughly 10 to one. Maybe it was for the best that these bikers just got off with a warning (okay, not really).
