Help Me Pick a More Upscale Car
Q. My wife is looking to trade up to a more upscale vehicle, a car she plans on keeping for several years. She is looking at 2010-2012 Mercedes-Benz E350, Hyundai Genesis, Infiniti G37X, Cadillac CTS, Lexus ES 350, BMW 525xi, and Toyota Avalon. Which of these do you recommend?
A. All these cars are good choices and each has its own unique characteristics. The BMW, Infinity, and Cadillac are more of a driver’s car; the Lexus, Mercedes and, to some extent, the Genesis and Avalon are more luxury cars without the emphasis on being a sports sedan. My choice for a sport/luxury sedan would be the BMW and for dependable luxury it would be the Lexus.
