New Camaro goes for a swim
Well that’s one way to lose a car.
A driver in Klein, Texas, lost control of his powerful $60,000 Camaro ZL1, crashed through a fence, and ended up driving into the deep end of a community swimming pool, according to news station KPRC.
The driver was able to swim to safety and was not hurt. A large crane was called in to remove the Camaro from the briny depths of the pool. A tow truck driver had to dive into the pool and secure the car underwater.
According to KPRC in Houston, investigators believe the young driver was speeding when he lost control of the car.
Ashton Brantley, who knows the driver, told KPRC that the driver may have switched off his Camaro’s traction control system.

According to Business Insider, the Camaro ZL1 is a powerful car that can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just under 4 seconds. It boasts a 6.2-liter V8 engine, can get 580 horsepower, and 566 lb.-ft. of torque.
So in conclusion: New Camaro, minus traction control, plus swimming pool, equals no Camaro.
