CarGurus, the Cambridge-based auto research and shopping website, has compiled a list of the top 10 car models that have been most popular with Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco area car shoppers this summer.<p>This list is based on the company’s review of car listing inquiries submitted to dealerships at <a href=”http://www.cargurus.com”>CarGurus.com</a> since June 1 by car shoppers living in these metro areas. CarGurus is a leading auto research and shopping site with 4 million unique monthly visitors.</p>

<b>1. Jeep Wrangler</b><br> The Jeep Wrangler is the most asked about car in Boston. The 2012 model of this vehicle delivers 17 city miles per gallon and 21 highway miles per gallon.<br><br> The <i>Volkswagen Beetle</i> is No. 1 in Chicago.<br> The <i>BMW 3 Series</i> led in San Francisco.
