Q. My daughter is interested in buying a new SUV. Her top choices are the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, Mazda CX-3, and the Honda HR-V. We have always had sedans (Nissan/Infiniti) and would like your opinion on these three vehicles. Is there another SUV that she should consider?
A. The vehicles that you are looking at are all slightly different. The Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is the largest of the three and has the best overall warranty. The CX-3 is the most fun to drive. The Honda HR-V is the smallest, though it’s roomy for a sub-compact SUV. If your daughter is looking for a midsize vehicle, the Santa Fe Sport is a great choice. If she wants fuel economy, the Mazda is a good pick. Probably the best choice for city living is the Honda. Since you have always had Nissan vehicles, the Nissan Rogue is certainly worth looking at as well.
