The Patriots are ‘classic Corvettes,’ not pickup trucks
The good news: Football fans surveyed by lease-trading company Swapalease.com believe the New England Patriots will win this year’s Super Bowl.
The bad news: Those same fans didn’t pick the Patriots as their favorite team.
The results appear in Swapalease’s annual “NFL & Cars’’ survey, which asks participants some serious questions, like their opinions on the most important aspects of a car, and some not-so-serious questions, like “Which NFL teams reminds you of a Lamborghini?’’
Overall, the survey had very good news for the Pats’ image. Many fans said the Patriots reminded them of some of the cooler cars available.

When asked which car feature characteristic is the most important to them, the plurality of respondents (31.9 percent) said they value performance in a vehicle followed by safety (20 percent) and functionality (19.66 percent).
As far as respondents’ favorite car feature, the biggest group of respondents (24.66 percent) said they like blind spot monitoring. A large touchscreen display came in second with 15.41 percent, followed by a collision avoidance system at 11.3 percent.
