We’ve all heard the slogan “Buy American,’’ but loyalty to American cars and trucks can vary widely from state to state. The auto pricing website TrueCar.com recently looked at new-car sales data to rank the states and the District of Columbia that posted the lowest percentage of American-brand car purchases in 2012. Here are those states.
