The cars listed here include new and used models and consider current financial incentives, and the prices are either starting MSRPs for newer vehicles or Kelley Blue Book’s Fair Purchase Price for used vehicles.

Why it’s worth the price: The Fiat 500 is a subcompact car that can make it easier to navigate the frequently congested city streets of Boston. Inside, the 500 has an eye-catching interior and a user-friendly Uconnect infotainment system with a five-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and voice commands.

The Fiat 500 is available in three trims: Pop, Lounge, and Abarth. All trims are available as a convertible (or Cabrio) for an extra $1,495. The base engine with a manual transmission gets 31 mpg city / 38 mpg highway. Higher trims have more powerful engines that reduce the fuel economy.
