Police recovered 44 tires and returned them to the dealership. A witness told police they saw the suspect run off on foot.
Police discovered several tires in a nearby minivan, as well as tires stacked at the dealership in what police believe was in preparation for them to be stolen. The van had a bent license plate in an attempt to obscure the plate number.
Police are still investigating.
