The New York International Auto Show introduces some of the most important vehicle debuts of the year. Its timing in the automotive calendar is crucial, as it is the last major show before automakers switch their line-ups to the new model year.

Some 2019 models are already out, but for some new updates coming this fall — like the 2019 Acura RDX, 2019 GMC Sierra, 2019 Subaru Forester, and 2019 Toyota RAV4 — this show offers an exclusive look at some of the most anticipated new cars.

Ahead, check out some of the biggest, buzziest vehicles from this year’s show:

Nissan just unveiled the 2019 Altima at the New York International Auto Show! The 6th-generation Altima will come with an optional Variable-Compression turbocharged V6 delivering 248-horsepower and 273-pound-feet of torque. Pro Pilot Assist will be included and Apple Car Play/Android Auto is now standard across all trims. #NYIAS

The 2019 Toyota Corolla XSE is very, very blue. It features a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder, 6-speed iMT manual transmission, or an optional dynamic-shift CVT. Inside, standard features include Entune 3.0 audio with an 8-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi connect, Amazon Alexa integration, and Apple CarPlay. #NYIAS

Check out the Volkswagen Atlas Tanoak pickup concept! The truck is the first pickup based on Volkswagen’s MQB or modular transverse matrix architecture. VW says it will be powered by a 276-horsepower V6 FSI gasoline engine, and will come standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive. #NYIAS

The Rimac C_Two (@rimac_automobili) is a pure electric GT hypercar pumping out crazy numbers. Only 150 will be built, and there’s nothing else quite like it at the New York International Auto Show. Porsche brought the 2019 911 GT3 RS to New York equipped with the optional Weissach package. The goal of the $18,000 package is to reduce weight for a more hardcore racing experience. Front and rear sway bars and coupling rods, vehicle roof, steering wheel trim, and shift paddles on the steering wheel are all made of carbon fiber, shaving 13 pounds. Additionally, optional forged magnesium wheels save 25 pounds. When equipped with these options, the weight of the GT3 RS falls to 3,153 pounds. Pricing for the 2019 model starts at $187,500 #NYIAS

The Bugatti Chiron Sport offers significantly improved handling and greater agility compared to its Chiron sibling. Bugatti developed a dynamic handling package and reduced weight by about 40 pounds. The Chiron Sport will cost $3.26 million including transport, customs duties, taxes and fees. #NYIAS
