What should I look for when shopping for a new sedan?
John Paul, AAA Northeast's Car Doctor, has some recommendations for a reader who's in the market for a new sedan.
Q. In this age of nearly everyone buying SUVs, I’m considering a sedan. I have looked at several — the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Subaru Legacy. What do you think of these cars and are there any others I should be looking at? A. They are all good choices, but here are two additional cars I would look at. The Nissan Altima is now available with all-wheel-drive and that sets it apart from some of the others. The other car is the Mazda 6. This is, in my opinion, one of the best kept secrets on the road. In this price range I don’t think any car handles better or rides as comfortably. As a bonus, the fuel economy during my road test averaged 30 miles per gallon.
