The first time it happened, I was sure I had a flat tire, but I didn’t. The steering wheel was shaking; so was the whole car. No alert lights lit up the dash. Do you have any idea what could be causing this, and will I need to live with it again this winter? The weirdest part is it only happens on the way to work, never on the ride home.  A.

You were likely not alone in this situation. Snow and ice built up on the wheels, causing them to be out of balance. After a couple of hours in the sun, the snow melted and the tires were back in balance.
