Originally from Dallas, Texas, Nia Harmon is a rising junior at Emerson College majoring in journalism with a minor in media studies. At Emerson, Nia is the president of Emerson’s chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and is an executive producer for WEBN-TV Boston. As a member of WEBN, Nia has covered local and national events, including the Nation Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C., Fall New York Fashion Week 2023, Boston Fashion Week, and the Boston Marathon.
