Jon Couture began writing for Boston.com in 2019, primarily about the Red Sox. He has covered New England sports in various capacities for more than two decades, first at the New Bedford Standard-Times, then while at both the Boston Herald and Boston Globe. He grew up in Agawam and lives in Wareham, where his wife and son cheerfully humor his various goofy obsessions.
