Emily Turner is the deputy editor of community, where she oversees reader engagement, community assignments, and helps foster innovation initiatives across Boston.com. She joined the team in 2019 after working as digital editor for The Improper Bostonian magazine. Prior to her work in journalism, she spent the better part of a decade working in global social enterprise and impact investing. She hails from Vermont and is a graduate of Northeastern University.
